GreenCraft Bhutan’s shop located on the 2nd floor of Business Startup Center Building, Changzamtog, Thimphu, Bhutan.
It showcases a thoughtfully curated range of naturally dyed textiles and handcrafted products, all created by skilled female artisans, many of whom come from rural communities across Bhutan. The enterprise places strong emphasis on women’s empowerment and sustainable livelihoods, providing these craftspeople with opportunities to transform traditional skills into meaningful income. The product range includes both raw materials, such as naturally dyed yarns and fabrics for further creation, as well as finished goods ready for use or sale. These finished products span a diverse spectrum—from modern apparel designed for contemporary lifestyles to traditional Bhutanese garments that preserve cultural identity and craftsmanship. Each piece reflects a careful balance between heritage and innovation, combining time-honored weaving and stitching techniques with eco-friendly natural dye processes, resulting in products that are not only aesthetically distinctive but also environmentally responsible and socially impactful.
Anyone is welcome to walk in anytime or make appointment and visit. The shop is open from Monday to Friday (9 AM – 6 PM) and also opens on request on weekends or after 6 PM during weekdays.
